Practices to resolve conflict.

Episode 105 of The Relationship Podcast - Cindra Banks and Luke Skewes

We get deep into conflict communication on this episode, as always using some recent examples from our relationship to get an insight into the work. As always, we’re blown away with the tools Fish shares, this really resonated with us. He talked about the concept of no-one being wrong and no-one being right and conflict and how if we can get our heads around this, conflict won’t get to the crisis stage. Fish spoke about honouring the other party’s pain, as well as understanding that they never set out with an intention to hurt you, even if it feels like it. This really hit with us, especially the part about holding your own pain as well as opening to the other party’s intention. Woah. This is something we will be focusing on in our interactions.
